Monitora

Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of Monitora.

Effective

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Monitora (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. The Service

Monitora provides server uptime, health, and security monitoring, including a lightweight agent you may install on hosts you control. You are responsible for installing the agent only on systems you are authorized to monitor, and for any actions the Service performs at your direction (for example, service control or firewall remediation).

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account; enable two-factor authentication for additional protection.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • monitor or act on systems you do not own or are not authorized to manage;
  • attempt to breach the Service's security, abuse rate limits, or disrupt other users;
  • violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

5. Plans, billing & quotas

Paid plans grant entitlements such as agent and resource quotas. Quotas are enforced per plan. Payment terms, renewal, and any grace periods are presented at checkout. Failure to maintain a paid plan may result in a downgrade to the free tier.

6. Data & privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data, including a 30-day retention window for deleted accounts and your rights of access and erasure.

7. Availability & changes

We work to keep the Service available and secure but provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation. We may update, improve, or modify features over time, and will reflect material changes to these Terms here with an updated effective date.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monitora is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. For questions about these Terms, contact us at privacy@monitora.codexa.it.com.
